Real Life Info

- Name: Chris

- Age: 23

- Location: England - West midlands

- Tell us about yourself:
Well, I am a pretty laid back person, I take each day as it comes and just go with the flow. I have a quirky sense of humour which I suppose I have developed from being an avid fan of "The League Of Gentlemen" series here in the UK. I am known to be somewhat of a procrastinator resulting in a couple of my real life friends giving me the nickname Manyana, however I only tend to put off things I dislike ie. phoning orange about my mobile phone contract, going food shopping, fixing my vans windscreen (which had a little chip in it... it's a massive crack now!). I play bass in a couple of bands, one of which has our debut album for sale in HMV and we have been on radio 1 and MTV2 recently so it's exciting times! Overall I am a friendly and helpful person and try to be civil to everyone I meet. Oh yes, I tend to ramble a little bit, my apolagies Smile

WoW info

- Character's Name: Wurzel

- Class: Paladin (I noticed your Paladin slots were full but thought I would post an application because I really have my heart set on it)

- Level: 1

- Intended spec at max level (feel free to link to http://www.wowhead.com/?talent or similar if you've thought that far ahead):
This talent build
is what I would be aiming for at 70, pretty solid build I feel. There are a couple of debatable skills I have chosen not to take ie.BoK because I figured one of your Paladins would have that base covered already, also skills I have taken like improved SoC and improved judgement will help generate more TPS allowing the raid to dps harder thus increasing overall raid dps.

- Previous WoW experience (raiding experience, former guilds/realms played on, classes/specs played to a high level etc):
I played WoW from release date on the USA servers with my previous guild from the game Dark Age of Camelot, I played an Undead Warlock to 60 and was happily dueling people outside Orgrimmar to the /yells of "Leroy Jenkins", raiding Strath, BRS, MC and Naxx which was as end game you get back then.. cant remember what realm I was on for the life of me, in the end people started to get bored and then when BG's went live everyone went to bg and the guild split up and people did there own thing.. I couldn't find my place anywhere so quit WoW for a while.
A new account was started in October 07 and I rolled a Hunter on Karazhan server leveld as BM hunter for PvE in the guild The League of Gentlemen which later became Betrayal of which I was an officer, I found most of TBC content fairly straight forward and was enjoying the new instances and visited KZ a couple of times but again guild fell apart and I respecced hybrid for arenas with a couple of my friends and was just starting to work on Glad set to get me started. I also have a 53 prot pally which I am really enjoying playing at the moment.

- Reason for rerolling:
I am looking for an organised, helpful PvE guild who are wanting to progress through the game, in particular the high end raid instances. On my current server the guilds I have been in have been great fun to an extent but I found myself 90% of the time standing in Shatt city looking for things to do, people to help etc. because I actually enjoy playing WITH people, nobody replied in guild chat and the majority of the people on the server whined and whined about lots of pointless things. So a usual game night for me consisted of log in, try and get group together for instance or daily quests, fail. Go to BG and grind some honour, log out.. not really very enjoyable. I have started lvling a prot pally over the last couple of weeks and was going to migrate to another PvP server and try and get a guild together but then I came across your guild, which on the guild rules page is almost word for word what I want to be doing in game, you all seem enthusiastic and really want to make a great guild based around teamwork and enjoyment which I have found to be rare these days. Also it would be a breath of fresh air playing on a non PvP server.

- Please provide an armoury link (http://eu.wowarmory.com)to your most advanced character:

Misc

- What can you bring to Sacrament?
I am a very motivated individual, always willing to help if I can, strong team player who values teamwork, friendship and fun over uber leet itamz and lazzors pew pew etc. I am a bit of a theorycraft so I already know exactly what gear I need to push crushing blows off the table and have enough spell dmg to generate enough TPS to tank at least KZ.. I've worked out most of the math already, opps starting to ramble again. Seeking likeminded individuals who are looking to explore the game as much as possible and meet new people without becoming a zombie and succumbing to the mini-game known as PvP, oh did I mention my dry sense of humour? Smile

- What are your expectations of Sacrament?
A friendly, helpful guild environment with active players who play and interact together. A raiding guild where even though people have real life commitments they can still be in a raiding guild without having to be playing 24/7. No pressure to lvl asap, a guild that lets people go at their own pace.. overall an enjoyable guild with trustworthy people in who have a schedule and realistic goals to meet.

- Do you currently have any applications to other guilds outstanding?:
No.

- What are your usual play times, and are you able to fit in with our intended raid schedule?:
Most weeknights from about 19:00-01:00 and weekends a bit of an earlier start.

- Do you have a stable internet connection that can handle 25 man raids?:
Yes I do indeed.

- Have you used Ventrilo/Teamspeak before?:
Affirmative, although I need a new headset.

- Have you read and agree with the guild rules etc in the 'Whats it all about?' thread?:
I sure have cherry

- Anything else you want to add?:
I hope you have room to squeeze my paladin in somewhere as you seem like a great guild from what I can gather from your recruitment guidelines, I hope you consider my application.

thanks
Chris.

Ah, someone who knows his stuff about prot paladins, you are rgiht to skip BoK, all the holies would have it anyway, and it goes a long way for improving threat.

We can squeeze in one more prot, would be good to have an active one around.
Contact either me, Kraze or Amaiya for an invite. Very Happy
